Handbook 4.0 Guidance Documents

The TL 9000 Requirements Handbook Release 4.0 refers to several guidance documents that are available online for easy reference and access by TL 9000 registrants, registrars and auditors, and Accreditation Bodies. 
 

• TL 9000 Accreditation Body Implementation Requirements
  This document defines the requirements that accreditation bodies must satisfy in the process of accrediting registrar companies.

• Code of Practice for TL 9000 Registrars
  This document defines QuEST Forum expectations from registrar companies and auditors in this document.

• Registration Guidance
  This document explains the expectations of TL 9000 registrants.

• Migration Path
  Guidance to organizations that are registered to other standards on moving to TL 9000 Release 4.0.

• TL 9000 Auditor Time (formerly Audit Days Table)
  This document defines the minimum number of days an audit will require based on the size of the organization and the number of product categories. It is effective now and will replace the existing Audit Days Table on 01 Jan 2008.

• Requirements Origin
  These documents define the source of the additional TL 9000 requirements beyond ISO 9001:2000.
